Lighting the Thornton Steward Jubilee Beacon

The Diamond Jubilee celebrations were rounded off wonderfully with a gathering of friends and neighbours on the evening of Monday 4th June. It was chilly, but our thoughtful hosts had organised a blazing brazier to keep us warm while we waited for the beacon to be lit, along with yet more fabulous food, wine, beer and great company.
